Cavacas Health Services

I founded Cavacas Health Services with one goal in mind: to help individuals and families age with ease. As a Rutland native with over 25 years in the health services field, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an Executive Director at multiple assisted living communities, where I saw firsthand how overwhelming healthcare and long-term planning can be. I am a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy, the Community College of Vermont, and Champlain University, where I studied Healthcare Administration. Whether it’s navigating Medicare and Medicaid—and avoiding costly penalties—or creating a long-term plan that aligns health and financial goals, I work closely with each client to ensure they feel informed, prepared, and supported.

My passion lies in helping families make the right decisions at the right time, especially when it comes to quality of life. I specialize in guiding placement between assisted living and nursing homes, particularly for individuals experiencing dementia, Parkinson’s, mobility challenges, or cognitive decline, with a strong understanding of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). I also support families through some of life’s most difficult transitions—assisting with life insurance claims, estate cleanouts, and helping adjust Social Security benefits after a loss. From setting up Social Security and SSDI to working directly with agencies on your behalf, my role is to simplify the process and be a trusted partner every step of the way.
